This quote came up on DAILY GRACE CO. Instagram page:

Sounds good…sounds Biblical…sounds right…But is it?
Sadly, no.
I say sadly because I really REALLY enjoy DAILY GRACE CO. but this quote needs some clarifying. I am not attacking them or the woman who left it but to help other women know what Scripture actually says.
ARE WE WORTHY?

Check out that word MERIT…Other words that come to mind are even in its definition: DESERVED. OWED.
Are we owed love from the Lord?
ABSOLUTELY NOT.
All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our flesh and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature deserving of wrath. - Eph.2:3
You can search and search in Scripture but you will only find verses that point to God’s worthiness and our depravity. Without Him, we are NOTHING and only IN Him, are we His children, His heirs, His disciples, His loves.
“You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being.” – Revelation 4:11
Let’s go through and answer some questions that can confuse this topic.
DOES GOD LOVE EVERYONE?
4 For you are not a God who delights in wickedness;
evil may not dwell with you.
5 The boastful shall not stand before your eyes;
you hate all evildoers. – Psalm 5
This may be hard for you to swallow if you’ve been taught that “GOD LOVES EVERYONE” but it’s just not the truth. He doesn’t love everyone. He HATES evil DOERS — Doers means the ones doing the evil, individuals.
“The Lord tests the righteous, but his soul hates the wicked and the one who loves violence.” – Psalm 11:5
AREN’T WE ALL SINNERS?
YES.

“But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” – Romans 5:8
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,” – Romans 3:23
WHAT ABOUT JOHN 3:16?
Dr.James White explains how HORRIBLY MISUSED John 3:16 is. What does it really say and mean? Listen to this short video and the exegesis of the original language/text.
WHO DID JESUS DIE FOR? THE ENTIRE WORLD OR A CERTAIN GROUP OF PEOPLE?
The Church I grew up taught that Jesus died for all – making salvation available to ALL.
The truth is, according to the Bible, that Jesus PERFECTLY accomplished a substitution for those who will be saved, not for an OPPORTUNITY to be saved. His atonement is literal and not just an idea. He LITERALLY exchanged places with those who would be saved: exchanging their sin for His righteousness.
He made him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf so that we might become the righteousness of God in him. (2 Cor. 5:21)
Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us (Gal. 3:13)
For Christ also died for sins once for all, the just for the unjust, so that he might bring us to God, having been put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the spirit; (1 Pet. 3:18)
If He died for EVERYONE, then EVERYONE would be saved – since He took their punishment. If their punishment is paid for, why do they go to hell? Sin doesn’t get paid for twice. It is either paid for by CHRIST or paid in hell for an eternity.
A false and watered-down view of the atonement will throw you into believing that Christ could die for everyone but that they could not be saved.
HE ACTUALLY SAVED HIS PEOPLE ON THE CROSS.
“just as the Father knows me and I know the Father— and I lay down my life for the sheep.” – John 10:15
“27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.” – John 10
WHO? His sheep.
Look to Romans 8.

FOREKNEW. PREDESTINED. >>>> JUSTIFIED. GLORIFIED.
God knows His sheep. PERIOD.
“but you do not believe because you are not my sheep.” – John 10:26
Romans 9 will rock your world and wreck any false theology you have on Jesus dying for everyone!
“No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws them, and I will raise them up at the last day.” – John 6:44
SO, I AM UNWORTHY?
YES but God doesn’t love us and leave us in unworthiness – though it is true.
He SAVES us through His Son and makes us CO-HEIRS with CHRIST!
Romans 8:17
And if children, then heirs—heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, provided we suffer with him in order that we may also be glorified with him.
Romans 8:16-17
The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, provided we suffer with him in order that we may also be glorified with him.
1 Peter 1:4
To an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for you,
THIS IS WHY IT IS AMAZING GRACE! BECAUSE WE DID NOT DESERVE ANY OF IT!
As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins, 2 in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient. 3 All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our flesh[a] and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature deserving of wrath. 4 But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, 5 made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. 6 And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, 7 in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. 8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9 not by works, so that no one can boast. 10 For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. – Ephesians 2
Titus 2:11-15
“For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age, looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works. Speak these things, exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no one despise you.”
2 Timothy 1:9 “Who saved us and called us to a holy calling, not because of our works but because of his own purpose and grace, which he gave us in Christ Jesus before the ages began”
HIS OWN PURPOSE AND GRACE.
Back to Romans 9.
“It does not, therefore, depend on human desire or effort, but on God’s mercy. 17 For Scripture says to Pharaoh: “I raised you up for this very purpose, that I might display my power in you and that my name might be proclaimed in all the earth.”[g] 18 Therefore God has mercy on whom he wants to have mercy, and he hardens whom he wants to harden.
19 One of you will say to me: “Then why does God still blame us? For who is able to resist his will?” 20 But who are you, a human being, to talk back to God? “Shall what is formed say to the one who formed it, ‘Why did you make me like this?’”[h] 21 Does not the potter have the right to make out of the same lump of clay some pottery for special purposes and some for common use?
22 What if God, although choosing to show his wrath and make his power known, bore with great patience the objects of his wrath—prepared for destruction? 23 What if he did this to make the riches of his glory known to the objects of his mercy, whom he prepared in advance for glory— 24 even us, whom he also called, not only from the Jews but also from the Gentiles? “
WE ARE CHRISTIANS BECAUSE OF HIM – not because of a choice we made, a baptism we did, NOTHING.
“We contribute nothing to our salvation except the sin that made it necessary.” – Johnathan Edwards.
So who is the worthy one and who is the one unworhty?
ALL THE GOOD WE ARE BELONGS TO CHRIST AND IT SHOULD ALL GO TO HIM AS PRAISE, WORSHIP, AND THANKSGIVING.
There are SOOOOO many more Scriptures I could have shared but this post has to end sometime. Ladies, do NOT fall for the self-love fluff that so many western “Christian” ministries are feeding you – always included: spoonful of sugar to help the heresy go down!
We are not worthy. Jesus obeyed the will of the Father, all the way to the cross. Get into Isaiah 53. GOD’S LOVE FOR US IS GREAT – but it is not because we are worthy but because HE IS. IT IS ALLLLLLL FOR HIS GLORY!
SOLI DEO GLORIA!

With the Daily Grace Co, I had ordered cards about the Attributes of God. They do not talk about the wrath of God. I didn’t get it until now when reviewing my cards. I had also reached out to them to ask them some questions. I asked them what they thought about women pastors or women teaching men. The reason I asked this is because they(the women who owned the company) make bible studies for the men. They got back to me and didn’t really answer my question. The lady wrote everyone has a different view on that. That should of been a red flag for me. Other than that, this article is spot on.
